Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
1. Introduction
ULTRAMEGA A/S ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website ultramega.io and use our services.
The data controller for personal data processed through this website is ULTRAMEGA A/S, Fruenseje 23, 8541 Skødstrup, Denmark (CVR 38950665). For privacy matters, contact hello@ultramega.io.
This policy applies to all users of our website and any services offered through it.
2. Information We Collect
Contact form
When you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, company (optional), and message you provide. Your submission is delivered to us by email, and a server-side record of the submission — name, email address, company, IP address, derived country code, browser user-agent, and referring page — is written to our operations log. We keep this record to operate the service and to detect and prevent abuse such as spam and rate-limit evasion. The lawful basis for this logging is our legitimate interest in running and protecting the website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); handling your inquiry itself is based on taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Download requests
Documentation and software downloads require registration. When you request a download, we collect your name (optional), business email address, and company, and send a time-limited download link to that email address. Download requests and completed downloads are written to a download log together with the requested file name, timestamp, IP address, derived country code, and browser user-agent, and we receive an email notification of each download. We use these records to operate the download service, prevent abuse, and understand product interest. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Information collected automatically
If you accept analytics in our cookie banner, our own first-party analytics records page views on our server. No page analytics are collected before you consent. Each analytics event includes the page address and title, referring page, browser language, timezone, screen and viewport size, a randomly generated visitor and session identifier stored in your browser, IP address, derived country code, and browser user-agent. We do not use any third-party analytics services.
Independently of analytics consent, we keep the operational logs of contact-form submissions and download requests described above.
Where our logs include a country code, it is derived from your IP address on our own server using a locally stored GeoLite2 database. Your IP address is not sent to third parties for geolocation.
3. How We Use Your Information

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser-storage entries. No third-party or advertising cookies are used.
- Consent choice: Your cookie-banner decision is stored in your browser so we do not ask again
- Analytics identifiers (only after consent): If you accept analytics, a randomly generated visitor identifier and session identifier are stored in your browser and page views are recorded by our own first-party analytics, as described in Section 2
- Download form convenience: If you request a download, the details you enter may be stored in your browser so the form can be pre-filled next time
You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, and you can control cookies through your browser settings. Contact-form and download logging described in Section 2 happens server-side and does not depend on cookie consent.
